This wedding…. oh my goodness, it was amazing! So many great moments. I adore this couple and their friends. Seriously, I had a blast with them. Alison and Matt met because his mom hired her (true story!) and as the story goes, eventually he asked her out. Things took their course, and they were married in June here in Grinnell in front of many friends, family, and I’m sure their favorite customers (Matt’s family owns a local restaurant). It was such a perfect day. Here’s a few (okay, a lot!) of my favorites.
I loved her blue heels! How she managed to walk down the aisle without falling is beyond me…those were high!

I’ll pause here to note that this guy is FUNNY. I’ve heard a lot of best man speeches and toasts over the years, some better than others, but this one? Definitely the best.. Hands down, he knocked it out of the park. Hilarious, yet completely heartfelt. Well done, my friend!
