It seems this year I am blessed with AMAZING couples to photograph. When Beth contacted me back in February, I wasn’t sure if it would end up working out. See, they live in Chicago, and their wedding is being held in Wisconsin. And of course, I’m in Iowa. My first thought was, “How in the world did you find me?” But then she told me their wedding venue was Badger Farms, one of my absolute favorite places from a wedding I shot last year, and it all made sense!
After talking with Beth on the phone a couple of times, we just clicked. And after meeting Beth & Ren in person for their engagement session, I’m incredibly excited for their wedding in September! The love and faith these two share is just beautiful.
Beth and Ren chose a fabulous area for their engagement photos – Lincoln Park in Chicago. Beaches, skyline views, parks, flowers – we did it all! It was a HOT May day, and we definitely got in our exercise walking from location to location, but it was so worth it. I had a fabulous time with you two, and I can’t wait to see you again in September!
Beth & Ren share a love of traveling, so Beth hunted down some great vintage clothes, and even found a fun suitcase for a few themed shots! We took these photos just outside Ren’s apartment just as it was starting to rain.
