Callie & Aaron hosted their wedding at one of Grinnell’s newest venues – Hotel Grinnell! What I loved most about this day is that Callie and Aaron planned a small and intimate wedding with their closest family and friends, most of whom traveled from outside of state, and it was almost like a welcome party since this is their new home! It was a wonderful way to kick off this new season in life.
We started the day off at Hotel Grinnell for final getting ready moments and details. Callie was relaxed and ready to go!
A gift for the groom…
It was unseasonably warm for their December wedding! Â We were able to do their first look outside at Central Park, which is right across the street from the hotel. Â It seriously couldn’t be a better setup!
In love with this bouquet from Shelly Sarver Designs!
Love these!
Navy and cranberry has been a popular color palette this year, and I can’t say I’m sick of it. Â I think it looks gorgeous!
Handsome gentlemen!
Their ceremony was right next door at the methodist church.
The getaway was a bit brighter than we had hoped!
One thing I love about small town weddings is that you can go lots of places for photos in a short amount of time! We hit up Grinnell College and main street in Grinnell for a special marquee photo at the Strand.
Gorgeous florals and wintery greens combined together with birch candles and gold geometric terrariums – Callie’s vision for their elegant winter wedding was perfectly executed by Shelly Sarver Designs!
We had a fun time celebrating! Amazing toasts, an epic cake cutting, and stellar music by Jared at Mojo Productions.
Congrats Congrats to the newlyweds!!!
