Chaston & Paul’s Intimate Iowa City Wedding

POSTED ON

January 19, 2021

Like many couples in the era of Covid-19, this was not the day that Chaston and Paul had planned for their wedding. But like many other Covid Weddings, this intimate winter wedding was absolutely perfect!

The original plan was for Chaston and Paul to tie the knot in California earlier this year, however after the pandemic switched up their plans, they ended up choosing to get married at Chaston’s uncle’s property in Iowa City, Iowa. As the pictures can attest, the venue was absolutely stunning and the perfect back-up plan for this day. With a small amount of guests in attendance and a beautiful ceremony (not to mention a beautiful charcuterie board), their day was wonderful and it would be hard to tell that this wasn’t the plan all along!

Take a peek below for all the gorgeous details!

Florals: Hydrangea Bloom
Dress: Carolina Herrera
Shoes: Bella Belle

The traditional wedding invitations were a great precursor to this wedding!

I’m obsessed with the Bella Belle shoes!

So much beauty in these details!

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue!

It’s genuinely hard to tell that this home wasn’t made to be a wedding venue!

If there’s ever a day for monogrammed pajamas, it’s has to be your wedding day right?!

Somehow, I think this portable mug is also the perfect wedding accessory for any bride.

The letters and gifts that these two exchanged were so sweet and you can tell how excited that they each were.

I mean, how cool is it to see this joy after receiving this gift from his bride?

Every bride hopes to see this much excitement on their grooms face during a first look!

The way that these two look at each other is unmatched!

We can only hope that this picture ends up on a canvas in their home someday!
