Brandon and Christina were married earlier this summer in Dubuque, IA, hosting their wedding reception at Diamond Jo Casino. Â This wasn’t our first time photographing in and around Dubuque, but it’s been a number of years, and so I was excited to be back! Â Their wedding took place at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, we stopped around downtown Dubuque for bridal party photos in the historic millwork district, and then headed to the riverfront casino for their reception. Â The celebration was incredible, and I’m so glad I could photograph such a wonderful couple! Â Congratulations to you both!
Long story short, Christina was Brandon’s gym-crush for quite some time. Â When he finally worked up the courage to ask her out, they hit it off from the start!

We wandered around the millwork district in downtown Dubuque, dodging the rain a bit, capturing some of my favorite couples photos of Christina and Brandon.
All of the beautiful historic buildings and ivy walls around Dubuque are one of the things I love most about this city.
We kicked off the evening with their first dance, held in the ballroom at Diamond Jo Casino.
