Finally, at long last, Cindy & Ben’s wedding hits the blog!  I know they’ve been waiting patiently 🙂  While the weather on their wedding day was far from perfect (torrential downpour ALL. DAY. LONG), everything else was spectacular.  Beautiful.  Full of life.  It’s one of those weddings that I feel honored and blessed to have been a part of.  Maybe it’s because I’m such good friends with the bride, but I think it’s more than that.  These two are so in love, and it just radiates from them.  They share a deep faith in the Lord, a love of music, and passion for life and laughter.  When you surround yourself with people like that, how can you NOT feel blessed?
Cindy & Ben, many congrats again! Â I love you guys, and miss you already.
We started the day at Ochoa Salon in South Hadley, and wouldn’t you know, Cindy’s stylist was the same lovely woman who did my hair on my wedding day!
My favorite…
Like I said, it rained pretty hard all day long, so we had to come up with a plan B for portraits and bridal party photos. Â We were lucky enough to find some pretty window light for a few quick photos of Cindy. Â You look gorgeous!
I love this sweet moment between Cindy & her mom.
Knowing Cindy for 7 years, I can say this is truly her.
Lois did a fabulous job on the flowers!
There was mention of Dance Dance Revolution during the wedding ceremony, with Pastor Robert showing us his moves.
I have no clue what caused this reaction, but this is definitely Cindy’s look of shock over some ridiculous statement during the sermon. Â I wish I could remember what he said…
It was like a musical…he sang to her…
And she smiled back.  🙂
Haha!  Love the reaction of Pastor Robert to their first kiss as husband and wife.  🙂
Cindy & Ben had their reception at the Northampton Center for the Arts.
Props to the best man for the funniest speech – he had us all laughing and in stitches. Â Nice work, my friend!
This was perhaps THE sweetest thing I’ve ever seen at a wedding. Â Ben & Cindy met through their mutual love of music when they wound up in the same vocal trio. Â They are both insanely gifted musicians and vocalists. Â For the first dance, as a surprise for Cindy, Ben recorded a beautiful version of I Will Be Here for them to dance to! Â He sang the entire song to her right on the dance floor…I was a mess of tears, as was everyone else watching. Â Truly unforgettable.
My heart just melts during the parent dances…
For music, Cindy & Ben had a live band and a caller so that everyone could do contradance, which is a type of group line dancing with a folksy twist. Â I got caught in the middle of a huge maze of people, but it was a total blast!
Congrats again, and I hope you’re enjoying life as newlyweds!
