When Colby contacted me, his mom said one thing I’ll never forget: “He has more clothes than me!” I kinda shrugged it off until he sent me a photo of the outfits he had planned for his session. THEN I believed her. This guy has style to spare, and let me just say, we had SO MUCH FUN figuring it all out the day of his session, finding a new unique location (that’s now a favorite) and just laughing and getting to know each other. To me, that’s what a successful senior session is all about – having a fabulous time!
Colby, thank you for a truly unforgetable session. You are one fun and classy guy, and I hope we can work together again sometime!
We started off near the college in Grinnell…
Colby was a natural in front of the camera. It may be hard to believe, but I barely gave him any instructions with regards to posing. He just relaxed and did most of this on his own – like I said, style to spare!
We switched things up a bit, and I experimented with off camera flash a bit!
Then, off to another location in town for a few more unique shots!
