Earlier this summer, I met up with Colleen and Kyle for their engagement session at Wilson’s apple orchard near Solon. I have long adored photographing sessions here with all of the rows of apple trees, plus the small creek and majestic trees lining its banks, it’s a beautiful location! When Colleen and Kyle mentioned they were hoping for a few family photos as well, with their adorable little girl Charlotte, I knew it would work out perfectly!
It was a warm summer day, but with clouds and starting our session closer to the evening, it wasn’t too hot. We lucked out with perfect timing! If you’re hoping to have an apple orchard engagement session like this one, definitely make sure you check in with me about the timing for your session! Starting too early means more crowds of apple-pickers, particularly if it’s a weekend, and starting too late risks us missing the sunset because of the hills surrounding Wilson’s.

As sweet and adorable as Charlotte is (SO cute!) we wanted to make sure we had just as many wonderful photos of Colleen & Kyle to commemorate their engagement. After a quick outfit change, we walked further into the apple orchard for a few more photographs as the sun was setting.
