Dream Destination Wedding Locations The Bucket List

I love exploring the world and discovering new places.  I love it EVEN more when I can combine travel WITH my love of photography and couples that are in love!  Destination weddings are an incredibly amazing experience.  I’ve had the opportunity to travel for several weddings and engagement sessions, and I’ve really grown to love it!  During our sabbatical year in Spain, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph in London, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and soon we will be headed to Budapest!  We visited Copenhagen as well, though most of my photography there was personal or travel photos.

With each new beautiful destination we visit, the travel bug gets even more intense, and I realize there are even more places I want to go!  There’s just too much I want to see – lol!  So, I made a bucket list, the places that are my DREAM destinations for travel AND photography!

Some locations are more a bit more general, for instance it has been a lifelong dream of mine to photograph a destination wedding in Italy!  Others are quite specific, such as certain wedding venues in Iowa or Minnesota.  I’m originally from the Minneapolis area and all of my family still resides there, so I’d love to team up with a couple getting married in the Twin Cities!

You can view my complete destination wedding bucket list, and definitely contact me if you’re planning your wedding at one of these locations!  I’d LOVE to work with you!  For all of the US and international destination locations, you’ll receive quite a bit of savings if your destination is listed on my bucket list (you can probably persuade me even if it isn’t!) and for the Iowa and Minnesota locations, you’ll receive a few wedding bonuses to sweeten your day!

Hey there, and welcome to the JWP blog!  We are a photography team based in Iowa and we’re glad you’re here!  We hope you’ll enjoy viewing our most recent weddings, tips brides, and business and educational resources for photographers.
