When you are surrounded by a crowd of your closest friends and family, the ones that are there to cheer you on, it is the best feeling. Â Emily and Austin are a more private couple, yet they wanted to proclaim and share their love with the people that matter most to them. Â When we were about halfway through the afternoon on their wedding day, surrounded by all the grandeur of the Tea Room, Â Emily said to me, “You know, I don’t need to get in front of everyone and share how I feel about Austin with everyone watching…he already knows. Â But we are doing this because it’s important and meaningful.” Â They kept their vows to a minimum, and their ceremony was brief, but the joy and care that they have for each other is great. Â All throughout their wedding day, I was grateful that Emily and Austin had exactly the kind of day they had hoped for: meaningful, stress-free, joyous, and personal.
Congratulations to Austin and Emily! Â We had an amazing day with you and your family. Â Enjoy some of our favorites from their day!
The Tea Room was set up for the ceremony with some tables and chairs ready to go for the reception. Â This type of ceremony-reception flip happened seamlessly during cocktail hour!
Christmas was in the air!
You didn’t get married at the Tea Room if you don’t have beautiful balcony photos!
We stepped outside for a bit, and this grungy alley seemed just the right place to show off Emily’s handmade custom jacket!LOVE this one!Off to my favorite spot!
Thank you Emily for braving the cold temperatures!Classic bridal portrait!
Emily could totally model bridal gowns, right? Â She looked incredible in this simple crepe dress!
How cute are these 4!?!When it’s freezing outside you modify plans and do bridal party photos indoors!
When I mentioned to Emily I had an idea for a mad-men style vogue inspired bridal party group photo, I had no idea it would turn out THIS good. Â I love this look, and it was seriously perfect for them!Cheers!
Emily walked down the aisle with her father and her son, who ever so slightly stole the show with his cuteness!

During cocktail hour, the team at the Tea Room filled the space, and guests enjoyed delicious champagne and appetizers.
The new husband and wife!
Their sweet first dance was interrupted shortly after they stepped onto the dance floor…by their little guy! Â He just wanted to dance with mom!
