Because of my time away in Barcelona this year, I had very limited openings for the class of 2017 senior portraits.  When I first announced my departure for the 2016-2017 academic year, quite a few of my current clients in the class of 2016 said that their friends were bummed since they were hoping to have me shoot their photos.  Sorry to disappoint everyone!  But I did get the chance to work with a few lucky seniors who managed to book my few spring and summer openings before I left.  And they were quite a wonderful bunch!  I’m so excited to start sharing a few of their sessions 🙂
Today, we’ll start off with Jessica!  She is quite possibly the sweetest girl ever and was so easy to photograph.  After her hair and make up, we started her session with a few places around town.  During the first hour of her session, it was super duper windy, so we had to find a few out-of-the-way places, otherwise her hair was everywhere!  I always tell senior that wind is a far worse weather problem for senior photos than rain!
I love this cobalt blue dress – it really brings out the color in her eyes!
Is she not a total Kate Hudson look-a-like in this next photo?
One thing that has been so fun for my 2017 seniors is how many of them want to do portraits with creative lighting. Â All of my sessions are shot on location, so I bring my studio lighting with me. Â It can take a little bit of time to set up, but I always think the dramatic lighting is worth it!
My favorite!
A complete change of scenery and outfit change, and you have some of my faaaaaaaaaaaavorite photos of Jessica featuring the most beautiful soft dreamy light. Â There’s nothing better than a little bit of sunshine and that gorgeous smile!
Jessica’s favorite!
Another quick outfit change…
And finally, this is my favorite – her eyes are stunning!
Hope you have an AWESOME senior year, Jessica 🙂
