Have you heard the song that goes “so lucky to be in love with my best friend…”? It 100% describes Kara & Mike. Spend 5 minutes with them, and you can just feel it, and it is the sweetest thing. When their close friends gathered and that song played at their outdoor ceremony at Jasper Winery, everyone was beaming. Why? Because there is nothing more joyful to watch than two people who are truly meant to be together exchange vows. I mean, they’ve known each other since they wee little kids, how more perfect can it be!?!
Kara & Mike – it was such a pleasure to be part of your wedding day. You made me feel right at home, and it was just so easy to photograph you guys. Thank you for the honor!
I hope you enjoy browsing through some of my favorites from their wedding day! Many thanks to Katie at Jasper Winery for hosting such a beautiful event. You may notice things look a tad bit different. I’m trying out some new editing presets that reproduce a more film-like look, and I’m loving it. Let me know what you think, and leave these two lovebirds some comment love!
I loved their flowers and their cake!
Kara was such a beautiful bride!
One of my favorite things about Jasper Winery is their barrel room – such a fun and unique space for portraits!
Much love to Sara Stark, my second shooter for the day. Â She captured the shot below on the left.
The weather was perfectly gorgeous for their outdoor ceremony.
Right after walking down the aisle…there’s something about this image that I just love.
After greeting their guests, I whisked them off for a few sunset photos before all the pretty light vanished.
The new Mr. and Mrs!
I’m only slightly obsessed with their cake…and all the other yummy cakes they had too.
Best first dance ever!
Thank you for a memorable day, and many congrats!
