When Katie & Jeff both moved into the same apartment at University of Iowa years ago, they had no idea they would find the love of their life in that place. But it happened! A friendship grew into a wonderful romance filled with laughter and joy. Several years later, and they returned to Iowa to Katie’s hometown to celebrate their love. Surrounded by friends and family, they vowed to love and cherish no matter where life brings them. It was a GORGEOUS day with some absolutely wonderful people – I couldn’t have been more blessed to capture it. One of my favorite weddings this year!
We started in Adel, Iowa, a small town west of Des Moines, for their ceremony and getting ready photos.
I loved Katie’s Toms! And what bride wouldn’t love to receive that special Tiffany’s box on their wedding day!?!
Katie & Jeff opted for a first look, and we had a few minutes for some wonderful photos together. 
Party trolley!!!! 
We headed over to Glen Oaks Country Club for their reception, and it was the perfect sunny and cool day for their outdoor cocktail hour. Many thanks to Jamie for orchestrating a beautiful and seamless event, and to my wonderful second shooter Aly Carroll for capturing details while I was with the bridal party on their trolley!
After dinner, we headed out onto the course for some sunset photos. I’m so so SO glad we did, because it was absolutely beautiful and we captured some of my favorite photos of the day.
