It was such an honor to be a part of Lizzie and Jon’s beautiful fall wedding at Rapid Creek Cidery in Iowa City, Iowa! This couple made the most out of their chilly day and picked perfect colors to complement the changing fall scenery. Not to mention, they included their dog, which is always a great addition to any wedding!
Lizzie and Jon basically have a story that you would see in a montage of a romantic comedy. After catching each others eye while being out with their friends, they were lucky enough to realize they had a mutual connection that could introduce them. They spent the rest of the night talking to each other until they realized that they were the only ones still standing at the bar! Can’t you just picture the scene? They went on their first date a few days later and have been together ever since. Not only was the start of their story something of movie magic, but so was their engagement! While attending a friends wedding in Colorado, they zip-lined through the mountains and hiked to the top of a waterfall where Jon popped the question. I can only imagine how incredible that view and that moment would’ve been!
All of this led them to their beautiful and rustic fall wedding day. They did such a great job utilizing timeless colors and details and pairing them with the cozy and outdoorsy setting of their venue. Take a look!
