With spring break over, it seems crazy to be going back almost a YEAR to my model sessions for the class of 2016 senior models!  Malia was one of my fabulous senior models for Grinnell High School.  We photographed her group model session back in May of 2015, so it’s been a while!  Each year when I do senior model portraits, I want them to be both unique to the senior, but also showcase what other seniors can expect from their session.  What I love most about Malia’s portrait session is that we were able to capture a little bit of everything that showcases her personality and her style.  Some natural, some urban, and some sports photos too!  Malia is an awesome athlete, and so when she asked to add on a mini session to showcase her love of soccer, I was so excited.  I’m getting more and more requests for this, and it is so fun for me to do these creative shoots.  Her soccer photos are quite a bit different from the rest, but together, they are all TOTALLY her!
As usual, we started downtown with the perfect little black dress and a gorgeous smile!
We didn’t do a whole in this outfit, but it’s actually one of my favorites! Â Sometimes it’s the more casual outfits that really showcase a seniors natural personality and style.
These ones with the dreamy light? Â Some of my favorite portraits from 2015. Â And also, I can’t get over how gorgeous Malia looks in these!
Now, for something COMPLETELY different…
Malia, you could absolutely be a model for Nike 🙂  I had lots of people tell me that when I shared these on Facebook and Instagram last fall!
Malia, thanks again for being an awesome senior model and for two AMAZING photo shoots!  I hope you had as much fun as I did 🙂
