Leah Rozendaal is the name, blogging and social media is my game! I married my high school sweetheart in December of 2017, with Jennifer documenting the whole day. You can see our best day ever here! I adore our corgi puppy named Rosie, and I can never have enough scented candles burning at once. I was born and raised in Pella, Iowa, and Tulip Time is by far my favorite holiday of all time!
I absolutely LOVE providing information and resources to brides, couples, and other audience members of Jennifer Weinman Photography. Whether this is a bespoke detail of a wedding, or helpful advice for planning your wedding, making that connection is what I ultimately love to do. I love to build the hype and get you excited for the amazing photos and experience you will have!
I have been working alongside Jen in different ways ever since she photographed my sister in May of 2016. I knew she had to be be my photographer, even before I was engaged!  We’ve gotten to collaborate on styled shoots, plan my destination engagement shoot in London, England, as well as my own wedding. Basically I started as a client, and that relationship involved into a friendship and partnership!
I bring a couple of unique experiences and perspectives to the table. I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Event Management and minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. In the past, I have worked as a wedding coordinator, as blogger for a prominent wedding proposal blog (The Yes Girls), and also have had the chance to be one of Jennifer’s brides. Since I have the experience of being a bride of hers so recently, I enjoy finding ways to help her future brides! I also have a videography business, and have had the pleasure of working beside her on weddings. We have so much in common, but ours strengths also compliment each other: her years of experience and my fresh perspective on the current trends make this a dream partnership!  I can’t wait to share more here in the future!
