Morgan & Harris’s Fall Ames Wedding

Morgan and Harris story is filled with simple romantic moments that led to a perfectly romantic wedding day. Their story actually starts a wedding a few years before theirs! They met at a mutual friends wedding and were friends for over a year before they started dating. They grew together, laughed a lot, and finally bought a house together! This home was such a significant part of their relationship that it was the place where Harris chose to propose! Morgan says she came home from getting groceries and saw Harris with a nervous look on his face (she was worried someone had passed away!). She talks about putting the groceries on the counter and turning around and seeing Harris on one knee holding out the ring! She obviously said yes, and that brings us to this gorgeous wedding!

Morgan and Harris said they hoped that their wedding would be filled with beautiful weather and all of their family friends around them getting to know each other! As you’ll see in the photos below, that is exactly what happened! This day was filled with stunning fall colors, a lot of laughter, amazing speeches, and a father daughter first look that will definitely bring a smile to your face!

This first look between Morgan and her dad was such a joyful part of the day! The fact that they physically responded in the same way says a lot about their relationship. It was the sweetest thing to witness!

Morgan’s choice of navy bridesmaids dresses was such a cool contrast to the colors of autumn surrounding the rest of the day.

father of the bride speech

This is how you know the speeches were heartfelt! At this moment, Morgan’s dad was talking about her as a little girl, and it was deeply felt by everyone in the room.

It came up a couple times that Morgan is the more outgoing person in their relationship, so it was clear that she was happy to be the primary speaker in the thank you speech!
