I am so excited to FINALLY share Rachel’s bridal portraits from her session back in early May! I have been looking forward to this day for weeks because I absolutely LOVED her session. Not only was she so easy going and absolutely gorgeous in her gown, but we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful spring flowering trees here in Grinnell, something that is very rare. I love love LOVE that time of year! The long wait is only because I wanted to wait until after her June wedding in New Orleans to make sure not to spoil the surprise of her gown. But now that she and Sydney are officially hitched (congrats, you two!) I am free to share!
We started off her session at the Marsh House, a quaint B&B that is restored to historic perfection. It had that perfect mix of old world charm and classic beauty to compliment Rachel’s look.
Rachel and I then headed over to the Grinnell College campus for the rest of her session. I obviously photograph on the campus quite a bit, but like I said, there is NOTHING like the spring flowering trees, and I was so excited to include their beauty in Rachel’s portraits.
We visited a few other pretty spots around campus as well — I love these next two together!
Congratulations, Rachel! And thank you SO much for trusting me and choosing me to capture your bridal portraits!
