Sara and Caleb’s love story is proof of two things – that timing is everything, and that some people are worth the wait. Caleb had been living in Chicago for two years and feeling frustrated that he hadn’t met anyone yet. Sara had just moved to Chicago and was walking down the street when Caleb drove past on his way to church. Caleb said to himself, “why can’t girls like that go to church?” And sure enough, church is right where Sara was walking!
Caleb was talking to some friends before the service started and turned around to see Sara walk in. Coincidentally she sat down right behind him and he introduced himself during meet and greet time. This led to dating for a year and a half before the sweet night where Sara wore her lucky blue dress and Caleb popped the question in front of the Chicago skyline. The sweet and romantic start to their story led to a beautiful wedding in Sara’s hometown of Pella with a ceremony at the church she grew up in and a reception at the Pella Opera House!
It’s clear that this couple has such a deep love for each other and for those that have supported them throughout life. Their wedding day consisted of a simple and romantic ceremony followed by a joyful and laughter filled reception. We think you’ll be able to see that throughout these photos!
