Everything about this engagement session held in Grinnell on a late summer day was perfect. Â Tim and Sarah are seriously the kindest people you will meet. Â And I love that their story connects across the country with right here in Grinnell, and that they are coming back to where it all began to start their life together. Â I’ll share more about their story when I come back to fill in some details, but for now, enjoy my absolute favorites!!!!

A lot of couples say they are nervous or worried about posing and that they will look natural or feel comfortable having their photo taken. Â Trust me, we will make sure you feel 100% at ease during your engagement photos. Â No forced smiles or overly cheesy poses.
Both Sarah and Tim are avid runners, and so when they suggested one of my favorite spots for photos, that also happens to be a popular spot for long distance runners, I immediately said yes. Â The golden sunset was perfect for the last minutes of their engagement session.
The sun was starting to set, so we RAN up the hill to grab the last few minutes of light, and this sweet and simple photo was just the way to wrap up our evening.
