Hi there! I’m Jen, and I’m a senior portrait photographer based in central Iowa, with a studio in Grinnell. I’m your hype-girl, and I will 100% get WAY over excited when we get that magazine-worthy shot of you (it will happen, promise). Trust me, I know that it is not always easy to be in front of a camera, but I’m here to make it easy, enjoyable, and memorable.
I was never the popular girl, never confident in photos, and was always unsure of myself (PS – this still kinda true) It is my mission to help senior girls (and guys too!) gain confidence & assurance, and recognize just how incredible they are through their senior photo experience.

Ever since I was 15, I wanted Jennifer to do my senior pictures. I always looked online to see the latest pictures she posted. I loved them so much I just HAD to have her do my senior photos.
The day of my pictures, I was so excited! I could hardly wait. I was a little nervous about my makeup and hair not looking right, but she did a wonderful job! Once I met Jen, I knew it was going to be a stress-free environment with her around. I didn’t really know how to pose at first, but after a few shots, I got the hang of it. I never once felt awkward about anything. If something didn’t look right, Jennifer knew just how to fix it, which was great!

Ready to book?
I take on a limited number of senior portrait sessions each month so I can give my clients the BEST experience. It is not uncommon for families to book 6+ months out, however there’s sometimes room left last minute. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
