I had so much fun with this second half of Clinton & Renae’s engagement session! Â We had part one last November on a very bright, yet very cold day. Â Renae had asked if they could split their session between fall and spring so they could have some photos once everything greened up in Iowa, and I was more than happy to make it happen. Â I’m so glad we did, because they definitely rocked the classy look! Â We headed to the Grinnell Country Club for their session on one of the most beautiful spring evenings, and were able to capture some great engagement portraits.
We started off with something a bit silly – I’m not sure what made Clinton laugh or wince, but I feel like this actually captures their session well since we laughed quite a bit.
A quick outfit change, and after heading back out, we had to get a bit creative for locations.  The golf course was pretty busy, and so the very friendly manager requested we relocate just to be on the safe side.  We happily obliged, and headed for a walk in the nearby neighborhood.  Who said streets can’t be perfect locations for engagement photos?  🙂
This one was totally Clinton’s idea, but I love it! Â They look SO happy, which I’m sure they are. Â They’ve been waiting three years to get married while finishing college, so I’d probably be pretty excited too if I was in their shoes!
I loved this fence and the light filtering through the trees – it was a beautiful spot.
Thanks for an awesome session, Clinton & Renae! Â You looked fabulous, and I can’t wait for your wedding in less than a month!
