A Stunning Gold & Black Tented Wedding

Angela & Mitch hosted their closest friends and family for a truly stunning wedding held under a beautifully decorated tent in late September. Angela worked closely with Cynthia from Vintage Love Rentals in Des Moines to plan her dream wedding, and it was everything she had ever imagined! From the elegant farmhouse tables draped in greenery and lit with candles, to the statement floral wall for the cake and vintage furniture pieces, it was all so incredible!

We started the day at Van Wijk Winery in Sully for final preparations…

It was a chilly fall day, but at least it was sunny! We’ve had a pretty bad run of Saturday weather for weddings this fall, but we had a GORGEOUS sunny day for Angela & Mitch’s wedding! I love this one!

Angela’s nieces were the most adorable flower girl grouping!

Stunning florals provided by Thistles in Pella – I love how each bouquet was unique and personalized for each bridesmaid.

Angela’s gorgeous hairstyle was incredibly unique and suited her perfectly.

Off to the ceremony!

Guests arrived in a stunning open-air greenhouse where the guestbook and fingerprint sign greeted them.

This little girl was a big fan of the camera!

Their ceremony was heartfelt and so meaningful.

After walking down the aisle, guests entered into this BEAUTIFUL tent, careful decorated and executed by Cynthia’s team at Vintage Love Rentals. It was gorgeous! So many little details.

Farmhouse tables draped in greenery with classic gold and black accents – it was the perfect reception style.

The bar area was bustling the entire night!

Cynthia and her team transformed the ceremony stage into a dance floor, complete with this beautiful arch! And of course, a lovely seating area for guests to stay cozy during the festivities.
