It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted a blog post – I always hate when I get behind! Â The biggest reason is because it’s been a super busy spring! Â I photographed 6 engagement sessions, 2 family sessions, and 4 senior sessions in less than 4 weeks! Â Whew! Â Needless to say, I’ve been behind the scenes working alongside clients and editing, so blogging took a bit of a backseat.
For a quick update on what’s happening, I have a few more weddings and sessions this month, and then I am taking my first real vacation in several years. Â I can’t wait! Â Our family will be driving out west to a cabin my parents own in the Tetons, and we greatly look forward to spending a few weeks hiking, biking, fishing, and just enjoying the beauty of the mountains. Â I can’t wait!
What does this mean for all of my clients and upcoming sessions and weddings?  Well, even though it is my vacation, I won’t be completely unplugged from the rest of the world.  I plan to bring my laptop and my most recent weddings and sessions on my external hard drive for a little editing while enjoying evening mountain sunsets 🙂  And of course, I’ll have my phone, so if something important comes up, you should be able to reach me.  The only thing I won’t have access to during vacation is my archive of files and currently active album designs.  So if we are currently collaborating on your wedding album design or you need access to recent sessions I have photographed, please know that I will need to get all of those requests in before June 26th.  I will be returning August 1st.
Finally, if you’d like to SCHEDULE a session, that’s still possible! Â I have August and fall openings, so make sure you get on the calendar soon. Â Every year, things tend to get a little frantic with all of the seniors calling the end of August, so please don’t wait!
And of course, what blog post would be worth anything without a pretty picture? Â And for that, I give you a gorgeous moment from this past weekend’s wedding – congrats to JT & Maggie!
