This sweet couple is getting married in September, and I feel so SO blessed that they chose me to capture their day. When we first did a little Facetime chat a few months ago, Thomas & Kelly had so many good questions and I felt like they really care deeply about finding the right person to be their wedding photographer. Nothing makes me feel more honored than to have a couple that loves photography and wants someone that really clicks with them to document their day, and that person ends up being me. It always amazes me!
What I love about Thomas and Kelly is that they are so easy going and their faith is central to their relationship. When I spent just a few hours with them for their engagement session, I felt like if we had met just in ordinary life circumstances, we’d totally be friends. I love that feeling with the couples I work with!
We photographed most of Thomas & Kelly’s at various locations around Grinnell College and around town. It was a lovely day and I enjoyed finding a few new locations too! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding because they are so photogenic!
