This has been something that has been on my heart for years! And I am SO excited to finally share about it today!!! You all know that as a wedding photographer, I love photographing couples in love. I love capturing the most important day in someone’s life. I love the vows, the hugs, the dancing, the beautiful dress, the smell of fresh flowers, the smiles on everyone’s faces as the bride walks down the aisle to her beloved. I LOVE IT ALL!
One of the things that not everyone may know about me from first glance is that I’m a giver. If you’ve ever read the book The 5 Love Languages, it goes through different ways people communicate love to one another, and my MAIN way of communicating love is through gifts. I love to give and receive! When I became a wedding photographer, I didn’t realize that I’d be utilizing my love language all the time with couples. Every time I finish a wedding, it always feels SO good to send couples their wedding photos, because I always know that it is something they will cherish for years and years to come! It’s the ultimate wedding gift!
However, I also know that quality professional wedding photography is not in the budget for every couple. Perhaps there are other family priorities that take precedence at this time, or there are pressing financial situations that mean you really just don’t have the money for certain aspects of your wedding day. Whatever the reasons may be, I know that deep in their hearts, every couple wants to have beautiful memories to look back on.
That’s why I decided to do this wedding giveaway! Because I want an engaged couple that is IN LOVE to be able to celebrate and remember and look back on their wedding day for years with joy, pride, and excitement for how beautiful that day was and how wonderful it was! I want them to have a beautiful album FULL of their wedding photos so that their kids and grandkids can see exactly how it all went down. And I want them to not have any regrets about their photography. The truth is, I hear from couples all the time who couldn’t afford the wedding photographer they dreamed of because of budget constraints, and now they live with the disappointment of lackluster images or missed moments. It’s a reality for many couples. And while I can’t solve everyone’s wedding budget (oh, how I wish I could!), I can use photography as my gift to others to be a blessing!
