The blog has been a little quiet recently, but if you’ve been over on Facebook, you might notice there’s A LOT going on behind the scenes.  Lately, I’ve been traveling quite a bit.  During the spring months, my husband and I have temporarily relocated to Massachusetts for my husband to focus on his research.  I’ll be traveling back to Iowa multiple times for weddings and sessions, definitely racking up those frequent flyer miles!

The most exciting trip, however, was something I’ve been planning on for a while – participating in a photography workshop hosted by Amanda Holloway.  I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, improve, and grow as a photographer, which is why I participated int his AMAZING workshop.

I spent 4 days in New Orleans with several other talented photographers and just soaked it all in.  There are so many things I want to share: things I learned about business, myself, and of course all of the photos!

For now, here are a few quick photos from one of the shoots we did in the Garden District and in downtown New Orleans!
