I’m so excited to feature Karly’s Lux session we shot back in August!  I had such a blast getting to know her and her sister, and Karly is just SO sweet.  It’s no wonder she has been nominated for this years homecoming queen!  She is such a wonderful, genuine, and gorgeous young lady, and it was a pleasure to photograph her senior portraits.

We started with hair & make-up, provided by Megan Cooper.  She is phenomenal!

Then we headed up to her grandma’s farm north of Gilman, which was the perfect place to start!

We were also able to snag some more “urban” shots in downtown Grinnell.  I love this particular alley, because depending on the time of day and the wardrobe, it can look completely different!  I love how it all comes together with her outfit and hat!

We also headed out to Lake Nyanza, and I loooooooved when she pulled out all her ballet shoes and tutus!

Have a great senior year, Karly!  I can’t wait to see where you end up with all your many interests in art and dance 🙂
