Ever wonder what it’s like to be the youngest your whole life, and then suddenly you’re not? That’s Christa. I met her two years ago, and I absolutely adore her. She’s so incredibly respectful, intelligent, and fun. She’s probably the most level-headed teenager you will ever meet. She cares about things like right and wrong, modesty, but she’s not too uptight to laugh at herself. Christa is one of those people who doesn’t take herself too seriously, which I love.
Christa is the daughter of my pastor and one of the sweetest girls. I hope being an official teenager doesn’t ruin that! 😉 She turned thirteen this year, and to celebrate, and to give me a little bit of posing practice, we took some photos around Grinnell. We headed out to Krumm Preserve and started there, and then took a few photos in town and some by Lake Nyanza. I love how we got a mix of her joyful smile, and the sassy teenager to come 🙂
Doesn’t she look fabulous in purple?

Thanks for the fun time, Christa! A few more of your favorites should from the lake should be coming soon 🙂
