This day was one Celeste’s mom, Susan, had been dreaming about for quite some time. You could tell by the joy in her eyes, the way she hugged her daughter tenderly after she saw her in her wedding gown for the first time, and when she walked her down the aisle and lifted Celeste’s veil to give her a kiss on the cheek. Celeste and Ben’s story took many twists and turns to get to this day, but when it was finally here, it was so worth the wait! This incredibly joyful celebration was full of friends, family, and stories from the many years leading up to this point. I absolutely adored every moment and am so grateful I was able to capture their day!
Celeste and her bridesmaids got ready at the Carriage House, a quaint historic B&B that was perfect for capturing all of her details!
I adoooooooooored her dress. So elegant and beautiful! And…it had pockets!
When you’re a block away from the ceremony in a big ball gown, you might as well walk! My two favorites!
Let’s not forget the handsome groom!
Married!
I always love when brides choose a long veil – it’s so magical!
Their gorgeous pink and gold was held at the Joe Rosenfield Center at Grinnell College. I’ve photographed other weddings there before, but this was different. They truly transformed the place! So incredibly gorgeous!
Cake!
And then they danced the night away 🙂
Congrats to Ben & Celeste!
