Sometimes we have weddings where the couple has been together forever, they take their time with planning, and we meet them when their wedding is more than a year away. Â And then sometimes we have couples who get engaged in May and married in August, like Larissa and Andy! Â If ever there was a time to remind people that there are many ways to get married and plan a wedding, this is definitely a perfect example!
Their beautiful heartfelt wedding was beautiful and without an ounce of stress. Â Larissa chose to forego a formal bridal party, and instead honored her closest family with specific roles throughout their day. Â They shared their vows at Debbie’s Celebration Barn in Oskaloosa, the perfect place for this country couple!
But my favorite detail of all was the invitations Larissa designed combined with the incredibly gorgeous florals from Mandy at M.Klyn Floral – it was like wild flowers meets country elegance. Â It was stunning! Â They pulled off a beautiful wedding day in record time, and I’d say there wasn’t an ounce of stress the entire day – Larissa was calm and relaxed the entire time! Â I loved that during their portrait time in the evening, Andy and Larissa were just laughing and enjoying the sunset together with not a care in the world.
Congratulations to you both!
Outside Debbie’s Celebration Barn, there are all kinds of trinkets and decor, and it set the perfect tone for their relaxed affair.
Andy helped design and MAKE their wedding rings at The Jeweler’s Bench. Â During a small break at their reception, he even shared a behind the scenes video of the process – it was so sweet and thoughtful!
Larissa, you are a beautiful bride!
Even though it was a beautiful summer day, it was hot, and so everyone was grateful for an indoor ceremony!
Can you tell I’m obsessed with the decor?
Congrats to Larissa & Andy!
